As a Systems Account Manager you will be responsible for a territory of varied accounts which will be managed through a consultancy and partnering approach to design and deliver solutions that will benefit our customers. Accounts can require bespoke, cutting edge solutions others require off the shelf solutions. Our Account Managers are responsible for balancing and managing a territory of well-established accounts with a good installation base with the expectation that they can grow accounts and sales base.
Within a typical week our Account Managers will develop a pipeline, manage opportunities and provide forecasts to the management team. Regularly meeting with customers in person or virtually to explore avenues of partnering with them as well as introducing new technology. Our Account Managers work closely with the marketing teams and our demo lab chemists.
This activity requires strong account management, customer service and rapport building skills as well as an ability to talk through a customer’s system requirements.
Being a Systems Account Manager involves travel throughout the territory of responsibility and brings you a great degree of flexibility in how you manage your accounts and how you work in the field!
