  • The project is set to commence immediately and is anticipated to last for a minimum of 10 months, with the potential for extension.

  • Opportunities are available for both fixed-term employment and freelance contracts, catering to the preferences of the successful candidate.
  • The role demands a commitment of 56 hours per week and 6 day per week, reflecting the intensive nature of the project and its critical timelines.
  • Conduct field installation pre-checks to ensure readiness for instrumentation installation.
  • Monitor and inspect all instrument installations, cabling, and tubing progress, performed by the client's subcontractors.
  • Supervise cable testing, tubing pressure tests, and other related activities carried out by the client's subcontractors.
  • Review and verify calibration and field testing documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure that all field works are completed satisfactorily before power-up of instruments and panels.
  • Verify instrument ranges preset according to Linde's data sheet in the DCS (Distributed Control System).
  • Confirm all alarm settings are configured as per Linde's document in the DCS.
  • Perform calibration, initialization of control valves, instruments, and other instrumentation equipment.
  • Conduct loop checking in collaboration with DCS vendors to ensure seamless communication between the DCS and field/MCC (Motor Control Center).
  • Participate in interlock, logic, and sequence checking activities alongside DCS vendors and other field operators.
  • Execute any additional tasks assigned by the commissioning manager to support project completion.
  • Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in instrumentation installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices related to instrumentation and control systems.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise subcontractors and coordinate activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Prior experience with DCS systems and familiarity with Linde's documentation and specifications is preferred.
  • Certification in relevant areas such as instrument calibration or safety procedures is a plus.
